Announcement of Goals and Brock d'Avignon's Request for Your Thoughts on:

1) Earth's Elliptical path is currently in a Malinkovitch Cycle where we are closer to the Sun during Summer and Winter and have been for the last decade; and is likely to last another seven years. Springs and Falls are further away, shorter slightly, and cooler. Satellite photos have been observing that this phenomenon of melting ice and drying lakes is happening. Some Malinkovitch Cycles range from 17 to 49,000 years as we osccillate. As this appears to be so, the public policy of "reds turned green" trying to control human activity as if it is the cause of warming, when its really the Sun, is nothing more than a socialist excuse to restrict volitional science and free enterprise. Aristotlian perfect circles do not exist in Space anymore than zero-sum economics do. Think about the implications of making this widely known on video to the young and voters worldwide. 2) There are 1,202,600 estimated number of asteroids and comet cores (according to astrophysicist Dr. David Brin, not NASA at half that figure) that cross Earth's path each year. That's about 3,500 per day. No other superpower than that of Mother Nature is lobbing objects in our direction. Congressmen Dana Rohrabacher who first held Asteroid Danger Hearings in 1999 believes few Congress-critters are interested in long-range defense. Prime Minister Tony Blair is also with his first act of the new millennium establishing a Near Earth Object Commission and funding a Comet And Information Network (CAIN) hoping that big brother might wish to save his neck too. Since 2000, candidate and Vice President Cheney and his wife have been receiving, at their request, EPDF research and results of technological proposals for silhouetting asteroids and dark, black, carbon covered, comet cores. Further public policy proposals in Asteroid Detection, Deflection, and Development (ADDD) are to create incentives for asteroid discovery by rights to property title: 6% for discovery, 3% for co-discovery verification, 3% for assaying, 9% for beaconing, 15% for re-navigation, balance of rights for habitat or mining interests upon arrival. Dick Cheney will receive the First Captain of Spaceship Earth Award, not Al Gore. 3)  Our Solar System is traveling along at 40,000 mph entering the second worst zone of a gaswall in a galactic arm according to paleontologist Paul Janke who has charted 381 asteroid hits on Earth and their frequency. The spikes in statistical hits occur when our Solar System passes through repeatedly 3 gas wall zones of 3 galactic arms that shift asteroids and comets out of their usual paths. The result is we get peppered with hits killing off 40% to 60% of all life on Earth in these three zones during our 185-million year sojourn around the Milky Way. We've done this several times with the same results. At present we are at the threshold of an intersection of the Orion and Perseus arms presenting a formidable gas wall. 4) The Earth Path Defense Fund has accumulated a great deal of information, usually courtesy of students doing original thinking. Any mentors are welcome if you can think long-term and wish to influence short-term investment in Space and Human Investments. Merchant Banker Collateral Specialist Steve Cervantes has deemed asteroids as collateral value equal to "a mine playing hard to get" now that 3 rendevous with asteroids and comets have occured. Its 1/10,000th of a dollar, which places a $79-trillion asteroid about 4 miles in diameter made of 50% steel, rare earths, and cosmic ray enriched hydrogen regolith (topsoil) for rocket plasma fuel --- in the range of assimilation by the current banking system. Those that believe money needs to be based on economic assets, instead of just oil BTUs consumption and production, can look to Space Resources. We are a space-faring nation. Related issues such as students at Stanford cracking the supergene on aging so no one will die and we live a quality life looking at our prime for thousands of years (until a hovercraft runs over you) -- will require far more resources than we have on Earth comfortably. It so happens that of the spacefaring or astronomical nations on Earth that would immediately benefit from 50,000 prior asteroid discovery claims being honored, the US and Americans would hold $45-trillion in collateral value, Russians $3.3-trillion (why don't we loan Russians some International Space Station funds against a few rocks on 50-year terms instead of just giving away American taxpayer money? It would save their pride as spacefarers.) Most of our Euroasian allies can lay claim to about $1-trillion each, and another $1T for Australia. The greater game than oil is thusly announced. Let's be sure everyone has a privatized piece of the rocks.

Those who wish to discuss military defense responsibilities that are unfunded for asteroid detection and defense can also log on, but the mission directors of NASA have stated flatly that someone higher than they must decide property rights in Space when referred to by VP Cheney.
